The figure has been the primary focus of my work for many years. We sympathize and are familiar with the figure. We share physical characteristics and have the ability to share thoughts and ideas. We identify most completely with all forms of energy contained within the figure.
The Still Life
Pottery
The still-life is composed of inanimate objects arranged in space. It is more than a pleasing arrangement of forms. It is the interaction of shape and the surrounding area that result in the spirit of the still-life and the energy it expresses.
The Horse Race
The horse race is a display of strength and determination by the horses that run and the jockeys that ride. The colors and shapes are associated with the sounds that are heard. The dynamics of the horse race occur during an event that takes place within approximately two minutes.
